From the comfort of my sofa
I just like to read! There is no greater pleasure than a peaceful house and a good book. I will read most genres but not sure I have the imagination to really "get" some science fiction and fantasy.
A bit of a breath of fresh air
I read this based on recommendations from members of THE Book Club and as a break from my usual fare of murders, psychos and other dodgy characters.
This book was a bit of a breath of fresh air. I don’t have daughters but I am both a mother and a daughter and recognised many of the situations! It started off quite amusing and light and then became much darker, which was a surprise but probably helped keep my interest. I would have given 4 stars until the last chapter!
